Help!!Feeder Jam light won't go off!!

While taking some time off, my pressman had a jam at the feeder while running envelopes. He removed the envelope and attempted to restart the machine, but the feeder jam light was still on and the press won't start back up. Error code showing is Err. 1 11-07. Any ideas?

Spike - According to the info I have, the 11-07 error is the reflex sensor (electronic eye) at the infeed. See if the lens area is damaged or if the eye is pushed downwards from its original position. Good Luck - Steve

Thanks Steve. Found out the pressman used a chemical on it ( don't know why ) Probably fogged the lens up, is there anything other than replacing the sensor that I can do?

Spike - If the lens is fouled, I don't think there's much else you can do but replace. Let me know via e-mail (mqgpress@aol.com) what the part # is and I'll see if I have one. Steve

Didn't think so. Part # A1.144.1012 for the top one. A1.144.1013 for the bottom one( don't know if it's bad or not)
