I did what you advised and it made a difference.
Marked where the torsion spring was and adjusted it tighter a few degrees at a time untik it was 90 degrees harder.
The register still varied with speed change all through the adjustment range with speed change.
So I returned it to the original setting and it holds register as long as you do not alter the speed.
I have done swing arm retiming on older machines so I am familiar with the principal of its workings but not with GTO's and there setup tolerences.
